An amazed audience appreciated classical music by Chopin, Bach and Haydn which was performed on the piano and violin. Our group sold tickets at £4 for children and £5 for adults. We advertised by putting up posters around the school, contacting Old Nottinghamians and musical students, and selling in tutor sets. We also targeted events in school such as Parents’ evening and the Bridge Cup Winners concert. Throughout the experience of organising this concert, we have developed skills in marketing and also selling; these skills will be useful for future work, but also in the remainder of the Young Enterprise process.
